Dates: April 15-June 24 (no classes May 27) Time: Monday 10am-Noon Tuition: $312
This class is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Hebrew who wish to focus on learning Siddur and Biblical Hebrew. This course is taught in English and emphasizes reading and comprehension. Students are introduced to the printed alphabet and the Hebrew sound system. At the end of the course, students will be able to read and understand basic classical Hebrew, such as blessings.

Beginning Siddur Club - Tuesdays
Dates: April 16-June 25 (no classes May 14) Time: Thursday 10am-Noon Tuition: $312
The Siddur Club – Reading Selected Hebrew Texts From the Prayer Book
This class, taught in English, is designed for students who have studied classical Hebrew for one or two semesters and can read basic classical Hebrew text, e.g. blessings. With the Siddur as its text, this course provides a relaxing environment in which to practice reading and gain an understanding of classical Hebrew as used in selected portions of prayers. In addition, students learn how to follow the services in the synagogue. (A visit to the synagogue can be arranged.)
